I’m Obviously Confused. Only 3 of 32 spots remained the same this week in my rankings. 15 teams moved up and 14 teams moved down. Of the 15 teams going up, 14 rose at least 2 spots. Of the 14 teams going the wrong way, 11 dropped by more than 1 spot.

New #1. The Patriots fell out of the top spot this week following their loss to the Bills, dropping 2 spots to #3. The Packers whipped the Bears to go to 3-0 and moved up 2 spots to the #1 ranking. New Orleans moved up 4 spots to #2 in my rankings.

Moving Up. The Giants and Browns each moved up 4 spots, with the Giants going to #8 and the Browns going to #22. But the biggest climbers this week were the Bills, who moved up 6 spots to #16.

Going the Wrong Way. Not as many teams had big falls this week. The Falcons slid 4 spots to #15. But the team taking the biggest tumble was the St. Louis Rams, who slid 7 spots to #32.

A New Low. With the Rams going to the bottom, the Seahawks moved out of the last spot, climbing 3 places to #29.

Other Notes. Despite the big move up the rankings, the Bills are still my lowest ranked 3-0 team at #16. My highest ranked 0-3 team is Miami at #25. The Broncos are my lowest ranked team with at least 1 win at #29. The Eagles are my highest ranked team with a losing record at #9.
