-Previous week’s rankings in parenthesis;

Settling In: Only 15 of 32 places changed this week, with 17 spots remaining the same. 6 teams moved up at least 1 spot this week, while 9 teams moved down at least 1 spot. Of the 6 teams moving up the rankings, 4 moved up at least 2 spots. Only 3 of the 9 teams going the other direction fell more than 1 spot.

It Is Easy Being Green: Green Bay is the #1 team in my rankings for the 4th straight week. Since taking over the #1 spot after week 3, the Packers have really distanced themselves from the other 31 teams. It’s hard to express with rankings, but there is a wide gap between Green Bay and the other teams in the top 5.

It’s Still a Shitty Matchup for MNF: The two teams making the biggest climb in my rankings this week were the Ravens and the Jaguars. Both teams rose 3 spots this week, with Jacksonville moving from #31 to #28 and Baltimore going from #5 to #2. Coincidently, these two teams will face off this week on Monday Night Football. I’m not sure if the news about the move these two teams made in my rankings could help ESPN sell interest in this game or not. I doubt it. It looks like a 2nd straight dud for MNF.

Summer, Spring, or Fall: Only 3 teams fell more than 1 spot in the rankings this week and no team dropped more than 2 spots. Carolina, Minnesota, and Indianapolis all fell 2 spots in the rankings this week. The Panthers dropped from #20 to #22; the Vikes went from #27 to #29; and the Colts fell from #28 to #30.

Staying Low: The Rams continue to not be very good at all. Once again St. Louis holds the bottom spot in the rankings this week. They are the #32 team in my rankings for the 4th straight week.

Other Notes: The Packers are the only undefeated team left in the NFL. They are the #1 team in my rankings. The Colts are my highest rated winless team (out of 3) at #30, despite the fact that they are the only 0-6 team in the NFL…The Bengals are still my lowest ranked team with a winning record, coming in at #21 despite being 4-2 on the year. The Cowboys are now my highest ranked team with a losing record, sitting at #14 despite being 2-3. The Texans are my highest ranked team with a .500 record at #9. The Falcons are my lowest ranked team with a .500 record at #18.
