Comments: Things were less chaotic this week in the NFL. I’m still trying to figure things out but I feel like these rankings are beginning to stabilize somewhat, at least at the top.

20 of 32 spots changed this week. That’s not exactly stability but it’s nowhere near as crazy as the previous week when 28 of 32 teams moved.

This week 9 teams moved up in the rankings and 7 of those 9 teams moved up more than 1 spot.

Of the 11 teams moving down the rankings, 5 fell by more than 1 spot.

2 teams moved up 4 spots in the rankings this week. Minnesota climbed 4 spots from #24 to #20, while the Rams moved up 4 spots from #30 to #26.

The team making the biggest move in the other direction was the Lions. Detroit dropped 6 spots in my rankings this week from #16 to #22.

The Texans rolled to another lopsided victory to stay undefeated and they are my #1 team for a third straight week.

Cleveland came through with a spirited performance against the Ravens on Thursday night and they moved out of the #32 spot after just one week in the bottom position. I moved the Browns up 1 spot to #31.

The Colts were idle last week but they still dropped in the rankings, falling 1 spot from #31 to retake the bottom position at #32.

All 3 teams that went into the week 3-0 survived to remain unbeaten. Obviously the Texans are still my highest ranked undefeated team at #1, while the Cardinals remain my lowest ranked undefeated team at #12.

The 2 teams that went into the week winless are both still looking for that first victory. The Browns are no longer in the bottom spot but they are still my lowest ranked 0-4 team at #31, making the Saints my highest ranked 0-4 team at #21.

The surprising Vikings are 3-1 but at #20 they are my lowest ranked team with a winning record.

The Steelers were off last week and they are my highest ranked team with a losing record at #9.

10 teams are currently 2-2 on the year. The Giants are my highest ranked 2-2 team at #4; the Rams are my lowest ranked 2-2 team at #26.
