Season Record

Biggest 10 Games (Straight Up: 37-23; Vs. Spread: 25-35)
Overall (Straight Up: 216-71; Vs. Spread: 147-140; Moneyline Upsets: 9-11)

Week 6 Review: Last week would have totally kicked ass if my team hadn’t gotten obliterated by a hated rival. There were a bunch of great games and even a shocking upset. But losing 35-7 to a hated and increasingly cocky rival from the asshole of the world tends to put a damper on things.

It wasn’t a great week for me making picks overall, but I was psyched to get a bounce back week ATS. It was much needed. On the down side, I wasn’t very good picking winners last week.

Annoyingly, I went right back to struggling on moneyline upsets. I thought I had at least a 2-2 week sewed up early on Saturday. Syracuse had won earlier in the week and Northwestern was in control against Penn State. I dosed off for a while and happened to stumble on the NW-PSU final score and was genuinely shocked for some reason.

I just can’t seem to get the biggest 10 games right. This week I couldn’t even pick the winners. I’m not sure I’ve had a winning record ATS in the biggest 10 games all year long.

Week 7 Preview: This week isn’t quite as loaded as last week but there are a few huge matchups, including the Red River thingy, Stanford at ND, and South Carolina at LSU. There are also a few rivalry games sprinkled in.

I’m actually looking forward to just sitting back and watching a full day of college football without having to worry about my team getting sodomized on national TV. Plus, after last week’s solid results picking ATS, I feel like I don’t have any pressure to do well this coming week. Hopefully I’ll have another good week, but if it turns out bad it’s no big deal. I’m out of the danger zone for now.
