-Previous week’s rankings in parenthesis;

Six Pack. Green Bay remains the clear cut #1 team in the NFL. The 7-0 Packers were idle last week but they are my #1 team for a 6th consecutive week.

Lower Than Ever. At long last, the Rams catapulted out of last this week after their mindboggling upset of New Orleans, jumping 4 spots from #32 to #28. Taking St. Louis’ place at #32 this week is Indianapolis. This was probably a few weeks late. The Colts deserve to be #32 at this point. Just think: in week 7 the Colts lost by 55 points to the same team that the Rams beat by 10 points in week 8.

Issue Number One: Am I Regular???? There was plenty of movement within my power rankings this week, as 25 of 32 positions experienced change. 15 teams moved up at least 1 spot, while 10 teams moved down at least 1 spot. Of the 15 teams going up, 11 moved up more than 1 position. All 10 of the teams headed south fell more than 1 spot.

Up. Three teams rose 4 spots this week. The Niners climbed from #7 to #3; the Vikings moved from #29 to #25; and the Rams jumped from #32 to #28.

Down. At the other end of the spectrum we have Tim Tebow’s Denver Broncos. The Broncos looked like an FCS team at home against Detroit on Sunday. Denver plummeted 6 spots in my rankings from #25 to #31.

Other Notes. The Packers are the only undefeated team in the NFL and they are my #1 team so logically (if she weighs as much as a duck…) they are my highest ranked undefeated team. The Colts are the only 0-8 team in the NFL and they are my #32 team, ergo they are my lowest ranked winless team…At #13, the 3-4 Eagles are my highest ranked losing team. The 4-3 Titans are my lowest ranked winning team at #21…Do you realize that not one single team in the NFL is at .500 right now? Each and every team has either a winning or losing record at this point.
