Comments: Well, unfortunately I wasn’t able to accomplish either of my goals this week. I was supposed to explain the latest formula this week since I didn’t get to it last week. And I wanted to include 2-loss teams this week. Unfortunately, I just ran out of time to do either of those things.

This week I stuck with the same formula as last week and the same requirements for eligibility (only undefeated and 1-loss teams were eligible). Next week I promise to explain what I’m pretty sure will be the final formula. I’ll also include 2-loss teams next week in order to make these rankings more relevant. This week I just don’t have the time.

My top 10 did not change that much this week. Only 5 of the 10 spots experienced change and my top 5 remained exactly the same, with Florida holding #1 for a second straight week despite losing to my Georgia Bulldawgs.

I switched 2 teams out this week. Texas Tech and Oklahoma both suffered a second loss last week and thus fell out of my rankings from #9 and #10 respectively. Georgia moved into the rankings at #6, while Florida State landed in the rankings at #10.

Only 2 teams fell in the rankings while remaining in the top 10. Oregon State lost for the first time on the year last Saturday night and they took the biggest fall in my rankings this week, dropping 3 spots from #6 to #9.

LSU was the only team that moved up my rankings this week, climbing 1 spot from #7 to #8.
