Out: None.

Explanation: No teams fell out of my top 15 after championship week, but there were some changes. I had to move Auburn ahead of Ohio State and Oregon after their blowout victory over South Carolina in the SEC Championship Game. I moved Auburn up 2 spots from #3 to #1. I just don’t know if anyone can beat Auburn right now. It might be different in 3 years when they finally play Oregon in the National Championship, but right now they appear to be on a mission. If anything, it almost seems like the controversy surrounding Cameron Newton was good for them.

Oregon beat Oregon State by 17 points on the road. It wasn’t that impressive of a performance, but I didn’t move them down a spot from #1 to #2 because of the way they played, I did it because of the way Auburn played. The same goes for moving Ohio State down a spot from #2 to #3. The Buckeyes didn’t even play last week, but again, there’s no way I’m picking them (or anyone else) to beat Auburn right now.

South Carolina was on the other end of Auburn’s beat down in the SEC title game. I don’t think anyone would have beaten Auburn on Saturday, but again we saw that Stephen Garcia is a liability at QB. He’s just not a great quarterback. Simple as that. I moved the Cocks down a spot from 11th to 12th.

Despite having Taylor Martinez at quarterback, Nebraska lost a sloppy Big XII Championship Game against Oklahoma by 3 points. I moved the Cornhuskers down 3 spots this week from 15th to 12th. I don’t know what it is that separates Nebraska from the best teams. It has something to do with their offense. They just don’t score consistently enough. I moved Oklahoma up 1 spot from 15th to 14th. They have now won big games away from home in consecutive weeks.

Texas A&M did not play last week, but they beat both of the teams who did play in the Big XII Championship Game. I moved the Aggies up 2 spots this week from 13th to 11th. Michigan State was also idle last week but I moved them up 1 spot from #14 to #13.
