2. USC 1-0 (3rd)
3. LSU 1-0 (1st)
4. Ohio State 1-0 (7th)

6. Oklahoma 1-0 (4th)
7. Texas 1-0 (6th)

Comments: For some reason I feel like this year’s CFB power rankings are going to be more like my NFL power rankings; meaning highly volatile and changing a lot from week to week. I think part of it is that after the top 3 I really don’t have a strong conviction about any team. I’ve also learned to be less patient with teams. More often than not, I’ve found that if I think a team is really good and they aren’t playing like a really good team early on, they probably aren’t as good as I thought.
