Comments: Well guess what, all you imaginary readers out there? Once again this week I decided not to extend the pool of eligible teams to those with 3-losses. It was just too easy to stick with less than 3 losses and deal with those 20 teams. Eventually I’m going to expand, but this week it wasn’t happening.

While there were only 19 games last week I did end up changing the strength of opponent level of one team. I moved Baylor up from Average to Good, and that affected some of the teams from the Big XII. Other than that, all I had to do this week was eliminate a couple teams who lost for a third time, add in the scores for the few teams who played this week, and then tally up the grades again.

There was some change in these rankings this week; a bit more than I expected. 8 of the 10 spots in these rankings experienced change this week (up from 7 last week). 3 teams moved up in the rankings this week, with 2 of those going up more than 1 spot. 4 teams moved down in these rankings while still remaining in the top 10, and all 4 teams dropped more than 1 spot.

Kansas State took the biggest climb in the rankings this week, jumping up 4 spots from #9 to #5 following their win over Texas. Ohio State took the biggest fall this week, dropping 3 spots from #3 to #6 despite being idle.

For the second week in a row I only switched out 1 team. This week it was Texas A&M, who fell out of the rankings from #10. A&M had been in the top 10 since week 11. Oklahoma jumped back into the rankings at #8 this week, moving into the top 10 for the first time since week 9.

Despite having the week off, Notre Dame remains the #1 team in the season résumé rankings for a 3rd straight week.
