Week
1 Review: Well I’m certainly not going to complain about my
week 1 results, especially considering they were rushed. I had a very similar
week 1 record last year and things turned out well. I will say that my feeling
that I might have picked too many underdogs turned out to be correct,
particularly in the biggest 10 games.
Week
2 Review: This wouldn’t appear to be a week stuffed full with
big time matchups. That doesn’t mean it won’t be a great week of games but
there are few matchups that really stand out going in. Week 2 isn’t usually a
huge week but there are almost always a few games generating buzz. Often times
in the past the spotlight games have been out of conference meetings between
big name programs. In reality, they often turned out to be somewhat lopsided
games, but at least the networks (or really, the network) could sell the game
as a big one. There just aren’t many sexy games this week. In fact, there’s not
a single matchup of ranked teams this week. There are of course some
interesting matchups and this could turn out to be a tricky week in terms of
making picks.
