-Previous week’s rankings in parenthesis;

New England Bounces Right Back to the Top. The Pats rebounded from their surprising loss to the Browns by whipping the Steelers in Pittsburgh. They have gone from 1st to 4th to 1st in the last 3 weeks. The Ravens fell out of 1st following a very tough loss on the road to Atlanta when they were playing on short rest. The Jets stayed put at 3rd and the Steelers dropped a couple of spots from 2nd to 4th. The Patriots, Jets, Ravens, and Steelers in some order have been my top 4 for several weeks now.

A New Bottom. I had to move the Broncos out of the #32 spot after they handed the Chiefs a beat down on Sunday. Denver moved up 2 spots to 30th, while the Panthers took the Broncos’ place as the worst team in my rankings at #32.

Risers and Fallers. Both the Redskins and Vikings fell 6 spots in my rankings this week. The Vikes lost for a 6th time in 9 games on Sunday, as they were soundly beaten by the Bears in Chicago. Brett Favre looked awful and the entire Minnesota situation is a dumpster fire at this point. The Vikings fell from 13th to 19th in the rankings. The Redskins plummeted from 14th to 20th in my rankings, as they were sodomized by the Eagles on national television in week 10’s final game on Monday night.

The two teams making the biggest rise in my rankings this week were the Bucs and the Jags, who each climbed 4 spots. The Bucs continued to take care of business last Sunday, handling the Panthers to move to 6-3. They jumped from 15th to 11th in my rankings. The Jags beat Houston on a Hail Mary pass to move to 5-4. They went from 26th to 22nd in my rankings.
